So the last contest was run differently, and I'm wondering how people would prefer the next one? It will be:
- Free - Open to ALL furries (not just FURHQ, FURST, and FURRD) - Smaller prize (15-20 dollars probably)

FURST vote! I personally don't like 1v1's in any game due to the fact that once you know where the opponent is it turns into a stand off and is determined by who doesn't miss. I think having a team tourney would be a great idea.

I'm going to have to go ahead and support a team based effort.

what about a contest with multiple 2vs2 teams? though I guess the only issue is how would you divide prizes with that.

I voted for a 1v1. It's the most fair, given the circumstances. We're not reliant upon a team to determine whether we win or lose, and it's a new thing to try out!

I like team battle... but I guess... it could have some mixing in the teams to make the battles more fair.
How that would work?
If we got enough for a 10vs10 or 8vs8 or 6vs6, the players should be separated on 4 teams (5-4-3 player per team)
So... you got the teams A-B-C-D.
First round: AB vs CD Second round: AC vs BD Third round: the winner teams from first round will be split and mixed with the team that lost the first round
This open a great possibility of turning tables!
The winner team win a point. The 2 teams with more points go to next stage.
Same thing could be done with 4vs4... but I believe the could be quite boring... specially after too many battles... but if that happens at beginning... no problem!
Another thing: to avoid team asymmetry like 3x4 or 3x2 in the next rounds, the player with more (damage done) or (spotting damage) on losing team can go to the next stage to keep teams balanced... working as second chance for this lucky guy. ;3
The last battle 1vs1... it's quite boring... I see almost no way of avoiding it... except if in 2vs2 or 3vs3 battles... the player with more (damage done) or (spotting damage) on winner team is the one that receives the prize.
By the way... tournaments works very well on tier 5... but... what about have a tier 2 tournament this time?
Almost everybody have a Tetrarch, T1E6, M2 LT, T2 LT, PzII, T-26, BT-2, T2 MT or other tier 2 on garage. :3
As map to run it... I would recommend Himmeldorf or Ruinberg or Mines.

I enjoy any small 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 competition.

personally I say a 1v1 at himels with anything up to Teir5, including arty! Or the 2v2/3v3 battle could be good as it would help with getting to know and build abit of Teamwork amongst the members as they pick their teams, and still it makes for a good time! When would this be happening persay?

I definitely think that teams of 3v3 would be the best way to go, just due to the fact that such teams are how my CW experience tended to end up.
That is, we'd take all 15 and break up into five three-man platoons in battle.
