The following is a list of each rank within our two clans, the relationship each rank has with the other, and the responsibilities that each officer will have.
Over the past week or so, our clan has grown a ridiculous amount; it's fantastic, and I'm so happy that there are so many of us rolling about in tanks! However, this also creates the need to delegate more authority than I originally intended, so this list will be added to in the next coming days, weeks, and surely months.
Requirements for EVERY Rank above Recruit:
- Must have a form of communication with Lorethian, and the other officers, via Steam, MSN, or Skype
- Must be outgoing, willing to spend time with several clan mates, and delegate your time time with them
- Foster good will and communication between all members of the clans
NEW!!!- You MUST be in the main "FURHQ", passworded chat channel
NEW!!!- You must be in the Skype Officer chat, so that we can all have quick, reliable comms with each other.
NEW!!!- You must be relatively active. After a period of 1 month of inactivity, you will have your rank removed until you're able to come back on a more regular basis. I'm not an ogre; if something comes up ("Lore, I'd like to try out a new game, I plan on giving tanks a break for a while" or "I need to go on a trip"), just tell me, and we'll make an exception ^.^
Commander: The Commander is in charge of the clan(s) that we are affiliated with. They will be involved with pretty much everything in the clan, in as full a capacity as possible. The Commander is responsible, and empowered, to deal with issues as they arise, and keep disagreements to a dull roar, and not antagonize the involved individuals even more.

These are all the same person, yours truly. At this time, I want to have 100% control over both of my clans. Maybe that makes me power hungry, but I want to ensure that the clans as a whole are moving in the direction I desire before delegating authority to someone else I trust implicitly.
Deputy Commander: The right-hand men of the Commander. These individuals are in many ways just as important as the Commander, and act as his eyes, ears, and paws. The Deputy Commander(s) will be responsible for recruiting members - after appropriate evaluation (i.e. are they a furry?) - encouraging the use of our forums, TeamSpeak, Furaffinity page, and community channel (i.e. "FURHQ"), and generally ensuring that every member has their say.
Any clan members with issues or questions, and are unable to reach the Commander, should direct their query to a Deputy Commander.

Field Commander:
The other hand of the Commander... as if the Commander was a mutant with a multitude of left-hands. This rank is what I hope the majority of my authority-weilding officers will occupy. Not quite as high-up as the Deputy CO, but bearing a good deal of responsibility for keeping the clan organized, motivated, and in general having fun. Other clan members are expected to listen to a Field Commander, so if they need to pull you aside and mention something to you, please give them the respect warranted their position.
That's not to say Field Commanders are without regulation of course. However, they are authorized to eject clan members if things get RIDICULOUSLY out of hand. I will expect a substantial explanation if something like that is done without first informing me, but these people will be trusted with the ability to manage the clan when the Commander can't be there constantly.

Diplomat: These officers will have their paws in the clan wars in a more extensive role than soldiers (see below). Diplomats will keep their ears perked for potential alliances with other clans, browse the global map for weak spots to exploit, and also be involved with recruitment.

Treasurer: As it stands right now, the Treasurer rank will not be used.
Recruiter: Recruiters will keep an eye out for potential recruits, and try to make sure to keep the word out about our clans, and also to try and direct comments and questions up along the command chain.
Recruitment will involve:
- ensuring the applicant is a FURRY
- ensuring the applicant is AWARE OF THE MAIN CHANNEL
- given information about WHO IS IN CHARGE (ie myself and deputy COs)
- forum and teamspeak info

Soldier:[/b] This rank will probably be the meat of our active members. This rank will be given to those who have participated in clan wars within a period of 1 month. It is a title, and not much else. It serves to help myself, the other officers, and the clan at large, know who is bringing us blood and glory on the battlefield and, hopefully, gold. This rank will be entitled to gold rewards based on participation and success we have as a clan.
This rank will not have any administrative authority whatsoever. Each Soldier is no more or less than a Recruit, simply acknowledged that they have participated in Clan Wars. Nonetheless, each Solider is still required to have some alternate form of communication with at LEAST Lorethian, preferrably all the officers.
This list will grow, change, and evolve as attendance develops over the weeks and months. It's not final, or permanent. People will be taken off, and people will be popped back on, it's dependant upon continued attendance
