This week was odd! We were up against Team Special Forces - 2nd Brigade, and it looks like they were having attendance problems like us. We weren't at full strength, but neither were they.
We went with our standard tactic, main forces north, and defensive line set up south, but they threw us a curveball; they sprinted right down the middle and made a beeline for our base, forcing us to adapt on the fly. Despite some clan members going unusual, or outright incorrect, ways, we managed to regain our balance and counter their offensive pretty effectively.
We squashed their small force down south, and two of our mediums wheeled up to their base to take out the arty, but our own base was quickly being overrun. Our defenders did a FANTASTIC job of keeping cap down, but there wasn't quite enough firepower there. They won by capping our base, with us having their base at roughly 50%.
In short, we still need to work on clan members paying attention to where they're supposed to go. I type out the strategy in a fairly clear manner in the waiting room, and I still get 2 or 3 questions of "where am I going?" when the battle starts.
If you ARE unsure of where to go, please ensure the question is in the form of "Where does (name) go?" Because I can't tell, especially in the heat of battle, who's who, at least not yet.
All in all, this was actually they closest we've come to a victory! Stronger attendance, and perhaps a bit more diligence will help bring us even closer, and let us proceed to a second round!
